Mondays

6pm: Beginners/Improvers
7pm: Improvers/Intermediate

Classes are held at the Garrett Centre, Bethnal Green, E2 6LX.

Please note, on Mondays in August I will just be teaching a Mixed Level class at 6.30pm.

 

Wednesdays

9.15am: Flexible strength

Classes are held at Victoria Park Harriers, Cadogan Terrace, E9 5EG.

IN PERSON single class: £16
IN PERSON five class pass: £75 (valid for two months)
IN PERSON ten class pass: £140 (valid for four months)

Class types

Beginners/Improvers

Beginners/Improvers classes are suitable for anyone ranging from complete beginners to those who have more experience of Pilates. We establish the Pilates basics and then progress the basics with options for more challenging exercises, combining different movements, working on stamina and improving coordination skills.

This class is suitable for anyone with injuries or medical conditions that may impact ease of movement.

Improvers/Intermediate

Improvers/Intermediate classes are suitable for those who have more experience of Pilates and are looking for more challenge. We build upon previous knowledge and skills with more complex movement sequences, the use of props/small equipment and continue to build stamina and coordination. 

Flexible strength

A mix of Slings Myofascial Training and Pilates, suitable for all ages, genders and levels. Slings Myofascial Training focuses on the interconnected lines of muscles and fascia (connective tissue) that make up the body. We will use a mix of techniques from the Slings repertoire (including spiky balls!) and Pilates-based exercises to train mobility, stability and movement efficiency.

 
 

Useful information about in person classes

Please bring your own mat to classes at the Garrett Centre. All other equipment is provided.

Wear comfortable clothing and bare feet or socks to allow you to move freely.

When you are booking in for your first class, you will need to answer some questions on TeamUp, giving details of your medical history, Pilates experience and goals. If you have had any injuries you should take advice from your doctor, osteopath or physiotherapist before taking up any new exercise. I may need to contact them to get more information about your injury or medical condition and to check that all the exercises are safe for you. If you have recently had a baby you will need to be cleared by your GP to return to exercise before you can join a Pilates class. If you have specific injuries or concerns please let me know at the beginning of the class. All medical information is completely confidential.
